The panellists emphasised the importance of governmental support and regulatory frameworks in implementing a ban on single-use plastics. They also shared insights into successful initiatives taken by various countries and regions to mitigate these issues. Many important points were highlighted throughout the discussion, starting with the detrimental effects of single-use plastics on the environment, particularly in terms of pollution, marine life, and ecosystem disruption.
